This amazing property has been in the family for the last 80 years and now it is time for the rest of the world to enjoy (including your four legged family members)

Located in the heart of the beautiful seaside village of Robe. This quaint and quirky 2 bedroom property is the perfect couples retreat.

When inside you will feel a million miles away from the rest of the world, when in reality you have the whole village at your finger tips. Cafes, restaurants and shops only metres from your doorstep.

For all of its historic charm and quirkiness you will not be without the mod cons with a brand new stove to the kitchen, 2 toilets and an equipped laundry with washing machine and dryer.

 

PLEASE NOTE

There is a step leading from the second living area down into the kitchen/dining. There is also a step leading up from the bathroom area to the second bedroom at the back of the property.

This property does not have an air conditioner. ALTHOUGH it is one of the original stone houses built in Robe so stays cool throughout Summer.

Open fire place is ornamental only. Heating source for this home is slow combustion fire to second lounge area.

The third bedroom is located in an separate room to the house.

 

Credit Card details held in lieu of BOND.

It is the dog owner’s responsibility to ensure their dog is suitably restrained within the enclosed yard premises, Robe Holiday Rentals can not guarantee fencing will be a suitable match with your pet.

Bathroom and bedroom linen is supplied in all our properties for your stay, however we only supply what is required. NOTE linen is supplied only, if you require the beds to be made please book bed making with your booking request. It is the guest’s responsibility to notify the office if you require any special combinations. If no linen requests are made, we will make an assumption based on the guest number provided of which beds will be used at the property.

Don't forget to bring your beach towels.

Staying at Fred and Lila's was a delight. There were 3 living spaces the lounge the reading room and courtyard area, all providing a cosy oasis. The location was awesome.. you can park your car and walk to most destinations in the town. The cocktail bar is next door which could be seen as a little too convenient. Its a cute well appointed cottage.

Where do I start!!! The moment we walked in through the front gate, there were dead leaves all over the front porch & they didn’t just blow in an hour before we got there some of them were pulverised. As we opened the front door & stepped inside we noticed there was a musty smell. As we advanced into the house we could see cobwebs on the ceiling & dead flies & dust on window ledges The wooden kitchen chairs had food/drink stains on them (don’t know how long they have been there). There were ants crawling on the kitchen sink. The bathroom had pubic hair on the floor & urine stains running down the outside of the toilet bowl & around the bowl on the floor. The back courtyard was very untidy, again dead leaves, dead plants in some of the pots, some of the outdoor furniture was so old, it was a total turnoff. The laundry was also dirty, the laundry sink was disgusting, there were cobwebs on the window ledge. I didn’t know that I would have to do house work on my holiday, I might as well have stayed home, in the end I had to wash everything, plates, glasses, pots etc. because I didn’t trust they had been washed recently. I don’t know who you employ to clean this place but I suggest someone does a thorough inspection of the place before guests arrive. The only good thing about it was the location.

Lovely property, albiet a little cluttered. Just a bity noisy due to a restaurant/hotel being right next door. Walking distance to all amenities and Long Beach, which our dog loved to chase the waves. Beautiful scenery across Guichen Bay.

Quaint and central

A quaint small cottage in a great central location. There are a couple of lovely sitting rooms. It is tidy and neat for it's age and size, with modern bathroom and handy second WC and good sized laundry. The photos are reflective of the decor and current layout.
