Bells on Frome - 8 Frome Street

Bells on FROME was by far the best holiday home we have ever rented in Robe over 28 years!! Our 2 week stay was fabulous, and the puppies were happy in a well fenced yard. The location is perfect - a short distance to the Main Street, 3 bedrooms (main with ensuite) & a main bathroom with a bath and separate toilet. Very close to the Main Street, library, eateries and shops plus close to walking trails & the front beach. The exterior is most attractive and the family area perfect with a most spacious open planned kitchen, dining room and TV area (plus a children's play space)
Naturally we loved the dishwasher, modern 2 door fridge/freezer,ample cupboards, a walk in panty and good supply of cutlery, crockery and wine glasses.There was also a large family/TV room at the rear which opened onto a large undercover deck with bbq and extra large table for outdoor dining. We dined at the Robe Hotel, Drift & the Cally and enjoyed Pizza from from Olives. The Pastry Place was an all time favourite of course!!
Overall our stay at BELLS ON FROME was marvellous, so much so that we plan to rebook soon for next year. All the staff from Ottosons were lovely, friendly and extremely helpful as in previous years.

Wonderful location, we really enjoyed our stay

My Wife and I stayed at Bells on Frome for three nights on the way to Mount Gambier. We very much enjoyed the accommodation. Bells on Frome is a clean modern property with plenty of space and a more than adequate kitchen. Cleaning was pretty good, not quite like home but much better than we have experienced at some holiday rentals elsewhere. The big plus for this property is location. Happily situated in the old part of town, far enough away from the main street to be quiet but still close enough for the beach, marina, cafes and hotel to be within an easy walk. Appreciated the off-street parking. Loved the magpies singing. Needs a timetable for the bin collection to tell you which Thursday is the day for recyclables yellow lid bin.

Recently had a 4 night stay with 5 family members, great house, very roomy, very central and close enough to walk to main street, restaurants, marina, and beach. 2 lounge areas was great for a bit of separate down time too.
From a personal point of view, a couple of foldup chairs might be handy, we had our own so was lovely to be able to sit on the front verandah and enjoy the breezes and a front screen door would be good to allow the breezes through the house even though we did open the windows. All in all a great stay and we will definitely be back.

We found the cottage very comfortable with all things we needed.
The fire box does a wonderful job warming the main living area.
We felt that extra doonas etc were needed in the cold weather.
We had a wonderful time & will definitely be back.

Great quiet location close to the main street , very spacious n comfortable .Queen size beds all round would be a nice touch.

Excellent stay, used the BBQ several times, general amenities excellent, location is perfect for access to the main street, golf course etc. Just bring your own wood for the combustion heater if you want the fire going, however reverse cycle heater worked well. Will stay again at Bells if going to Robe.

Our 2nd time staying at Bells on Frome and it did not let us down.
Our holiday in Robe was beautiful and only made better by returning to this beautiful home.

We were unable to stay at "Bells on Frome" due to being in isolation with Covid. Instead, we suggested to another family member that they use the house instead as we were put into isolation on the day we were to check in.
Our son said that the check in process was very easy, the house was beautiful, very clean and central. Activities that were enjoyed during the stay in beautiful Robe was swimming on Long Beach, eating out at the various eateries in town and relaxing.
The staff at Ottoson Partners Real Estate were very efficient, helpful and friendly.
We look forward to visiting Robe, my home town, soon and would not hesitate to book accommodation with them again. Keep up the great work!

Great for a family ! excellent location to main street and lots of room for kids and adults. Clean and comfortable.

We booked this for a last minute winter getaway and this hone did not disappoint. Sparkling clean abs fantastic amenities. Comfortable beds and great showers. Our girls loved the extra large shower in the main bathroom. Easy walking distance to all Robe has to offer. Will definitely return to this one.

We stayed four nights in this beautiful home over Easter and absolutely loved it! The only thing I would change is the tiny tv in the living area. We tried to watch the footy on the big one att the back but it only played dvds. Otherwise amazing house in the perfect location...we will be back!

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay, as did our guests from Adelaide.Arriving to a lovely warm house made us feel very welcome.We enjoyed the wood fire and the great location.

House was beautiful, great location and very homey!Only thing that wouldn’t make me want to book again was the bed in the main bedroom was so uncomfortable we both got hardly any sleep over the few nights and went to swap to the bed in the spare room and was even worse!! We’d start our days at 5am or earlier because we couldn’t stand being in the bed and our backs were so sore! Plus the couch cushions wouldn’t stay in place and kept sliding off, We will definitely be coming back to robe but probably be booking at another house just due to the sleeping!! But if a hard bed doesn’t bother you, house is great! ottoson Partners real estate was great and so thoughtful had the lights and heater on for our arrival which we thought was so lovely! thank you :)

We stayed a few days and as always it felt too short. Only shortcoming was locked areas within the house like the pantry. Great idea with fire place. The back area looked quite inviting, would be great for summer

Will stay again.. Beautifully clean.. Heater was on to warm the house so it was toastyAll I could recommend was potentially some tea, coffee and sugar but buying coffee in robe was delicious

We loved our stay here. The lights and heating were on for us when we arrived in the evening which felt very welcoming. The house is a great layout For a family and well set up with everything you could need for the stay. The location was excellent, walking distance to the Main Street, cafes, foreshore, playground and coastal walks.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this terrific property. Very clean and exceptionally well equipped. Also very well located for walking everywhere.

Booked last minute for family getaway but lucky I think! Clean modern spacious and relaxing . Great place lovely and quiet has most things except extra blankets when cold and main bedroom bed needs new mattress as it sags second bedroom bed fabulous though.minor thing but Couldn’t work out how to turn lamps on in kids bedrooms either ! Lamp in main bedroom needs new globe too.Overall fabulous would definitely book it again! Loved it so much!!!! Highly recommend it!!!
