The Kingfisher- 3/7 Tobruk Ave

A beautiful place to stay. Immaculately clean, comfortable beds & huge living spaces including kitchen with everything we needed. The table tennis table was a fun, well used addition. A short stroll to the Main Street, an easy walk for anyone. Can also easily walk to the beach. Highly recommend as an ideal accommodation venue in Robe.

(One thing though the main bed is a tad hard with no give) but not a deal breaker.

Th Kingfisher was an excellent choice for our stay in Robe. It had all the facilities we needed and was a short walk to shops. The only matter which needed attention was the shower did not drain effectively resulting in a slippery surface. I am sure this could be rectified.

Spotlessly clean ,beautifully equipped,spacious living area with a cute solar globes lit outside area.Also in a terrific location .A 10 min walk to the beach & restaurants,cafes & pub close by.Very good value for money if you dont mind the1 bathroom tho'it does have the toilet seperate

The three of us needed a relaxing time away after covid! We were more than happy and have since discussed our time away, the general opinion is it was fantastic in every way, the house was faultless, spacious , clean and in a great location! We will definitely recommend it to our friends and hope to come back one day!

I would absolutely recommend this house. This house accomodate you with all you need plus more. Clean, comfortable and spacious.

Kingfisher lived up to all expectations except coffee machine. Loved the open fire and the openness of the living area. Very well appointed. Specially appreciated the garage opening up directly into the kitchen living area.

We initially booked The Kingfisher in July 2021 but after only 1 night we had to return home due to the statewide lockdown. The property management company were very understanding and we wanted to return and support both the agency and the property owner. The Kingfisher was perfect for our stay and was presented again in the same excellent condition we previously experienced but were not able to fully utilise. The location is excellent and we were able to walk to the main street as well as access the lovely coastal walks in the area. This time we stayed for 5 nights and thoroughly enjoyed Robe and our stay at THe Kingfisher.

We couldn't fault the Kingfisher, Great location , Spotless , Very comfortable accommodation . And when your day is done your car parks in the garage. Six thumbs up from us.

We loved staying at the Kingfisher. It was the perfect home away from home for our family for the week. It’s located so close to the shops and we were pleasantly surprised with the goodies on arrival and the kids loved all the games to play with.
My husband and I were also grateful for the coffee machine each morning.

Having stayed at Robe in housed accommodation, 3/7 Tobruk was the best of them all. Fantastic inside, roomy and accommodating. Within walking distance of the main street and food shopping. Definitely book this place again.

The Kingfisher is a fantastic holiday rental. Clean, spacious, comfortable beds, built in wardrobes in all 3 bedrooms plus multiple coat hangers. Comfortable lounges and chairs with foot rests. Welcome basket with water and chocolates. Coffee machine with pods. Dishwasher. Split system air conditioner. Quiet location back from the street, very close to main streets and beach. Could not fault it, very happy with our stay. Great price. Highly recommend.

Stayed here for three nights with our young child. Place was close to town and all amenities and very relaxing. Accomodation was clean, comfortable and had all the things that we needed for our trip.

Home away from home, as soon as we arrived I thought I want to stay longer already. Had everything we needed and more, only downside we had to pack up and leave at 10am maybe 12pm check out. But otherwise couldn’t fault it.

Had a great time staying here - it's very roomy and clean. The thoughtful gift on arrival was much appreciated and made us feel special. Great location, walking distance to all the shops and not far to the beach.

Do yourself a favour and if you are looking at accomodation in Robe then put this place at the top of your list, clean,spacious everything you need and more, couldn’t recommend it high enough and the booking people at ottosons were brilliant

Loved the Kingfisher, light & airy, spacious living & very comfy beds & pillows (not hard like a lot of B&B's) Nice touches with complimentary snacks & drinks etc. Easy short walk to the main st, pub & beach. Love that the owner obviously listens to the feedback & provides those requests wherever possible. Well done. Will definitely stay here again.

The Kingfisher house provided all the comforts required when away from home. Great location and attention to every detail in providing comforts needed. Ideal holiday house.

The Kingfisher was bright and spacious. Had plenty of room for our family of 4 with lots of thought put into making it a wonderful holiday home including board games, dvds, nespresso machine, weber bbq etc..However, the sofas were the most uncomfortable things we've ever sat on . There's no support or cushioning and the rattan chairs are an accident waiting to happen..

We enjoyed a week in this property which was in a reasonable location. A bit of a walk to the beach but kept us active. There was just the 2 of us [elderly couple] so we had plenty of room. The bed and pillows were superb so we had great sleep-ins during the cold week. The 2 wicker chairs was so uncomfortable we were barely able to use them for any more than 15 minutes. The sofas were adequately comfortable. We would have preferred a couple of comfortable chairs to relax in after a long day out and about. There was no NETFLIX available which was inconvenient. Also there wasn't any coffee making machine. Not even a plunger. Some kind of coffee machine I would have thought would be mandatory these days. We have stayed in numerous airbnb's and have always had a coffee machine of some description. A bad fail in this regard. What was pleasant was the heater on upon arrival and a small welcome pack of water, coffee powder, etc. This was a welcome surprise. All in all not a bad place to stay. Would recommend for younger families perhaps.
