Long View- 82 Esplanade

Great location and views from the property. Convenient to the town centre and nearby attractions, wineries etc.

My partner and l found the house to be very pleasant, comfortable and tidy . It was peaceful at night and we could hear the waves from Long Beach. Highly recommend staying there.

The whole family, including Buster the wonder dog had a great time in Robe. The house is in a great location and very pet friendly.

After a brilliant holiday last year we booked again this year (and spoiler alert we have booked next year already!) Nothing has changed from my previous review, you step inside, put down your bags and breath out. It is holiday time! The location is unbeatable and the house is clean and tidy. We can't ask for more when stopping from the day to day chaos of our lives to sit on the beach and do nothing for 2 weeks. Already counting down the days to next year!

We loved our stay and to be able to bring our dog with us on the stay was amazing. My teenage daughters loved the old school vibe of the property and the very convenient 2 min walk to be on Long beach.

Classic old beach shack, great for us water people.
We rigged our windsurfing gear on the lawn and walked across to the ocean.
Plenty of space to park our Jetskis
Bring a gas cooker cause the old school electric stove/oven is useless.
Good little place.
We bought it a hose cause there wasn't one.
Ottosons were great too.

Good little place to look out at the water, go for a walk on the beach with the dog in the mornings.

In a lovely spot, Longview gives off happy 70s vibes. The sound of crashing waves at night partially made up for the lack of fans or air conditioning in the downstairs bedrooms during the heatwave.
At this price, we'd hoped fans would be a given for still hot nights.
The sea view is lovely though.

We had a great stay at Long View. Whilst it’s not the most modern of houses, it is extremely comfortable with everything you need for a great family holiday. Secure yard for the dogs was great, well appointed kitchen and comfortable beds.

This house is in a fantastic location overlooking long beach. An easy walk across the road to the beach and walking tracks.
Simple, original 1950s shack- did the job for our stay with the kids.
Would definitely come back

Okay accommodation if on a budget.

Beautiful location on glorious Long Beach, great views, pets allowed in and out, aircon, Nespresso machine (website needs updating) washing machine
Very comfy beds, good furniture
Not upmarket but very adequate for a comfortable stay. We would stay again
Hard to find initially as set well back from the road-needs better signage and think they could do something nicer with the back yard -a little landscaping as it’s a bit rough and prickly -wouldn’t be great with children
We weren’t happy that we were responsible for refilling the bbq gas bottle but maybe short staffed with covid

The water views over the caravan park where the best feature of this property. We spent a lot of time on the deck enjoying the vistas.The house was clean on the surface but could do with a deep clean for dust under furniture and cobwebs on the ceilings.The kitchen had everything you would need but is in need of an update for hygienic reasons with worn wooden bench tops.The noise upstairs is very loud downstairs if you’re trying to sleep while others are moving about.The backyard is secure for your pet, there’s not much grass but plenty of sand for digging.The beds were firm and clean but we did need to put the linen on ourselves.The location to the beach was another fabulous reason to stay at long view.
